1. WHO WE ARE

PoolIt Technologies Limited ("PoolIt", "we", "us") operates the platform at poolit.site. We are registered in Nigeria. Contact: hello@poolit.site.

2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

• Name and email address (required for waitlist)
• Phone number (optional, waitlist only)
• Referral source (tracked via URL parameter)
• Location data (GPS coordinates — main app only, not waitlist)
• Device attestation tokens (main app only — Android Play Integrity, iOS DeviceCheck)

3. WHY WE COLLECT IT

• Waitlist: to notify you at launch and manage early access
• Location: to verify you are within a neighbourhood group radius (app only)
• Phone: to send OTP verification (app only)
• Referral: to credit referrals and manage waitlist priority

4. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

• We do not sell your data to any third party
• We do not share your data with advertisers
• We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) to store waitlist data securely
• We use Resend to send transactional emails
• Location coordinates are processed in-memory only and never stored as raw coordinates — only a neighbourhood cluster boolean is persisted

5. DATA RETENTION

• Waitlist data: retained until you request deletion or 12 months after launch, whichever comes first
• App messages: deleted after 90 days
• Account data: deleted within 30 days of a deletion request

6. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER NDPR

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with NITDA (National Information Technology Development Agency)

7. COOKIES

The waitlist page uses no tracking cookies. Google Analytics may be used for anonymous traffic analysis only.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database hosting (supabase.com)
• Resend — transactional email (resend.com)
• Vercel — website hosting (vercel.com)
• Paystack — payments (paystack.com) — app only
• Termii — SMS/OTP (termii.com) — app only

Each service operates under its own privacy policy.

9. CHILDREN

PoolIt is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
